Topping Ideas
Classic Sour Cream and Chives: This traditional topping is always a crowd pleaser. Simply top your baked potato with a dollop of sour cream, some butter, and sprinkle with fresh chives for a simple yet satisfying option.
Sour Cream and Italian Dressing: This is personally one of my favorite toppings for a baked potato the tangy Italian dressing pairs perfectly with the sour cream and potato.
Loaded Baked Potato: For those looking for something more indulgent, consider adding toppings like crispy bacon, melted cheese, chopped green onions, and a dollop of sour cream or ranch dressing.
BBQ Chicken: Shred leftover rotisserie chicken and mix it with your favorite BBQ sauce. Top your baked potato with the BBQ chicken mixture, along with some shredded cheese and sliced green onions.
Mediterranean Inspired: Top your baked potato with hummus, diced cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, crumbled feta cheese, olives, and a drizzle of olive oil for a fresh and flavorful twist.
Taco Style: Fill your baked potato with seasoned ground beef or turkey, black beans, diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, avocado slices, shredded cheese, salsa, and sour cream for a Tex-Mex inspired treat.
Chili Baked Potato: This is Ben's favorite potato topping. Anytime we have leftover chili he requests baked potatoes so he can top it with homemade chili.
